1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading the VOW robust application, accessing our web platforms, or utilizing the VOW Support Hub, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any structural mandate herein, you must cease use of the platform immediately.
2. The VOW Core Mandate (Nonpartisanship)
VOW is strictly an informational and civic-tech conduit. We explicitly disclaim any affiliation with political parties, candidates, Political Action Committees (PACs), or government entities.
- Neutral Aggregation: We provide real legislative text and aggregate verified voter responses. We do not editorialize, endorse, or condemn any piece of legislation.
- Not Legal Advice: Legislative summaries and VOW AI outputs are generated for civic clarity and do not constitute legal, constitutional, or professional advice.
3. Eligibility and Voter Verification
To cast a vote on legislation within the VOW platform, you must be a legally registered voter in the United States and at least 18 years of age. We do not collect data from or allow minors to register as VOW members.
- Temporary Data Collection: We temporarily collect voter registration information solely to verify that you are an active registered voter. This information is completely purged from our systems usually within a day, and no later than five (5) days, regardless of our ability to verify the registration.
- You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information during the verification process.
- Attempting to verify under a false identity, using another constituent's registration, or operating automated bot networks (sybil attacks) to manipulate aggregate outcomes is a zero-tolerance violation and will result in an immediate, permanent ban.
4. Code of Conduct and Restrictions
When operating within the VOW ecosystem, you are expressly forbidden from:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to breach the cryptographic barrier separating user identity from aggregate voting data.
- Scraping, framing, or mass-downloading VOW Lens analytics without explicit commercial authorization.
- Feeding hostile prompts, SQL injections, or attempting to socially engineer the VOW AI Support Kernel. All hostile inputs are logged and suppressed by out-of-bounds security protocols.
5. Intellectual Property
All original content on VOW, including the VOW Lens interface, The Lens Mirror civic journal formats, algorithmic calculations of representation divergence, and platform branding, are the exclusive intellectual property of Vote Our Way. You may share screenshots of public aggregate data for civic discourse, provided you do not alter the data or obscure the VOW branding.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall VOW, its affiliates, directors, or employees be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of, or inability to use, this service. The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
7. Governing Law and Arbitration
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach thereof shall be settled exclusively by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules.
8. Modifications to Terms
VOW reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time to reflect structural upgrades or legal requirements. Material modifications will be communicated via the VOW app or email prior to taking effect. Continuous use of the platform after enforcement constitutes acceptance.
